Homework

You guys have worked hard this week.  I hope you can have a restful weekend; however, you do have some homework to do.  Please be ready for Monday! 

Reading: 

• Please purchase a newspaper like The Seattle Times, or The New York Times.
• Choose  one article to read carefully.
• Be ready to tell your classmates the main idea and why you chose this article.
• Also, be ready to explain 1 or 2 new words.
• Bring the entire newspaper to class.  You can leave the advertisements at home.

Summer Fun Book Club:

• Please do your Summer Fun Book Club report.
• Bring it to class along with your Book!

Grammar Review for Grammar Test on Monday:

• Review the following chapters in your book.
• Chapters 17, 18, 22, 23, 31, and 32.
• Find websites on line to practice these verb tenses.
